History of Math Corporation

At the start of the personal computer revolution, before email and the Internet, Math Corporation led the charge to develop automated loan analysis solutions. By the early 1990s the company had developed a loan and savings calculation super component, written in “C” programming language.

That ZMath® Engine , our cornerstone product, is heavily used throughout the lending industry.

Today, Math Corporation products are in place at software companies, local banks, auto dealerships, lending institutions and loan corporations across North America.

The company has delivered loan calculation platforms and engines, and audited other lenders' systems for more than 25 years in order to continually enhance Math Corporation products with new technologies and data.

Michael Shohoney – President and Director of Development

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Michael is an expert on loan calculation regulations, their pragmatic interpretations, and their implementation. He has dedicated his professional career to the development of Math Corporation engines, desktop systems and Web-based products.

He personally supervises the installation of all Math Corporation loan and savings calculation engines.

Gerald Grout – Founder and Chairman of the Board

Jerry holds extensive experience in both software development and the banking industry. He has developed banking software for more than 20 years and enjoyed a successful 27-year career in the banking industry, spending 12 of those years as bank president. 

He holds a bachelor's degree in economics, is a Certified Commercial Lender and an expert regarding Truth in Lending, ECOA, RESPA and other consumer protection laws.
